Mac Lake

Chief Launch Officer

Mac Lake is the Chief Launch Officer of LAUNCH. His role is to get LAUNCH up and running, networking with churches and planters to establish healthy church starts across the U.S. and the world. In 1981, Mac moved to the Windy City, Chicago to attend Moody Bible Institute. After graduating Moody he took a position as a youth pastor at Northwood Baptist Church. From there, he moved to Dallas, Texas to attend Dallas Theological Seminary. Mac served seven years as the Senior Pastor at Carolina Forest Community Church before God began to lay a huge burden on my heart for Leadership Development. In 2004, Greg Surratt, Senior Pastor at Seacoast Church, invited Mac to join Seacoast Staff to help develop leaders for their multi-site movement. He remained as the Leadership Development Pastor for nearly seven years before accepting the call to start LAUNCH. Mac's passion is growing leaders for the local church. Every time I hear Bill Hybels say "The local church is the hope of the world" my heart comes out of my chest and it increases my sense of urgency for developing leaders who produce leaders. Mac has three children Brandon, who is on staff at Seacoast Church as a Worship Leader. Jordan, an aspiring graffiti artist and Junior at North Paulding High School. And Brianna, who has an amazing eye for fashion and design and Sophmore at North Paulding High School.

Brian Bloye

Launch Board President

Brian Bloye is the Founder and Lead Pastor of West Ridge Church. In addition to seeing the metro Atlanta area reached for Christ, he has a passion to see churches planted all over the world. In 1997, he and his wife, Amy, moved to the northwest Atlanta area to plant West Ridge Church. In just 13 years, West Ridge has grown to over 4500 in regular weekly attendance. The church has been involved in planting over 50 other churches around Georgia and the US. Six years ago, West Ridge launched the West Ridge School of Church Planting. Brian also has a passion to network churches together to transform communities here in the US and around the world. He is the Founder and President of Engage Atlanta, an organization that is bringing the pastors of Atlanta together for the purpose of community transformation. Brian has a B.S. degree from Liberty University and an M. Div. from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary. He also did two and a half years of further Masters work at Biblical Theological Seminary in Hatfield, PA. Brian and his wife Amy have two boys, Taylor, and Zachary. Brian enjoys investing in leaders and church planters, watching his boys play baseball and football, cycling, running, and spending time with his family.

Chip Henderson

Launch Board Vice President

Dr. Chip Henderson is the senior leader and primary teacher at Pinelake. Well known for his commitment to biblical, life-application preaching, Chip has seen God do immeasurably more during his tenure as Senior Pastor. Under his leadership, the church has grown from 800 to over 6,000 weekly attendees and moved to a multi-site church model with two campuses. In 2005 and 2007, Pinelake was listed as one of the 100 fastest growing church in America by Outreach magazine. Chip's passion is to help people discover and fulfill their God-given purpose for living. Chip is a graduate of Mississippi State University and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He is married to Christy, and they have three children, Rachel, McKenzie and Regan.

Vance Pittman

Pastor of Hope Baptist in Las Vegas NV

Vance was called to Las Vegas, Nevada in 2000, as a church plant from First Baptist Church in Woodstock, Georgia. As a creative thinker, he had a vision to launch a church that invests in God’s kingdom around the world, thus Hope Baptist Church was born in the fall of 2001. Hope’s core group of eighteen people has grown to almost 2000 people over the past eight years. The church currently meets, weekly, in a public high school. His plans to launch a network of church plants that would work together to impact the community and partner globally were well underway. Hope Baptist Church has given over one million dollars, annually, to missions over the last couple of years and has planted nine churches over the course of the last seven years and is currently building a team of partners to launch a tenth church here in the Las Vegas valley. Vance resides in Henderson, Nevada with his wife Kristie of 18 years and his four children, Hannah, Caleb, Elijah and Faith.

Bob Miller

Bob Miller has a passion for prayer, local and international church planting, as well as reaching communities using unique methodologies and models. He has been involved in ministry as an Executive Pastor, University Professor, and Entrepreneur since 1979. Dr. Miller has four earned degrees (B.S., M.Ed., Ph.D., D.Min.) is a published author (A Legacy of Church Planting, 2009, Lifeway/Crossbooks) and currently serves as an adjunct professor. He is Partner/Owner of The Crown Group LLC and President of ServantOne. Bob and his wife, Debi have four adult daughters, three sons-in-law, and four grandchildren.

J.R. Lee

Lead Pastor of Freedom Church in Acworth, GA

J.R. Lee is the Lead Pastor of Freedom Church. He lives in Acworth, GA with his wife Devin and their three children, Lexi, London, and Bryce. In January 2007, Pastor J.R. Lee began leading visionary meetings at his home in TN and within 5 months, twelve people had moved 400 miles to Acworth GA to launch Freedom Church. The first public Worship Experience was held on January 27, 2008. Since that time, Freedom Church has grown rapidly to over several hundred people and we have seen hundreds of people far from God experience life in Christ.

Daniel Floyd

Lead Pastor of Life Point Church in Fredricksburg, VA

Pastor Daniel Floyd received his BA in Religion from Liberty University in 2002, after which he met and married Tammie Lynch Floyd in June of 2004. Pastor Daniel went on to receive his MA in Religion in 2004, and his Masters in Divinity in 2007, also at Liberty University. Pastor Daniel and Tammie have two beautiful children: Owen, age 4, and Faith, age 20 months. They have made their home in Fredericksburg, Virginia since August of 2006. Pastor Daniel planted Lifepoint Church in Fredericksburg, Virginia, on September 11, 2005, with 50 people who had a vision to reach people far from God. Now in its sixth year, Lifepoint meets in a local high school and has an average Sunday attendance of over 1200. Since 2005, Lifepoint has celebrated as 1,049 people have placed their faith in Jesus Christ, and over 488 have made their decisions public through Baptism.

Jonathan Robbins

Lead Pastor of Summit Church in Kernersville, NC

Jonathan Robbins is the Lead Pastor/Teacher of The Summit Church in Kernersville, NC in the heart of the "Triad" area (centered among the cities of Winston-Salem, High Point, and Greensboro, NC). Jonathan has a heart burdened to reach people who've been "burned" by unhealthy church experiences and those who've never been. His passion is seeing people who don't "get it" finally "get it" and then "live it"! In 2000, He led a church planting team to plant a church in the Charlotte, NC area that is still going and growing strong. In 2004, God led Jonathan and his family to The Summit Church, a new church plant meeting in a middle school and struggling through a painful leadership transition. In the years that followed they've witnessed God heal a wounded church and birth a new vision to reach those far from God in that area. Since 2004, The Summit has been blessed with a permanent facility and grown from 300 to over 3,000 in weekly attendance. Jonathan is a graduate of Liberty University and Southeastern Seminary. He is married to Donna, and they have two daughters: Morgan and Maggie.

Tony Morgan

Leader of Multi-site/Strategy at West Ridge Church in Atlanta, GA

Tony serves on the leadership team of West Ridge Church near Atlanta. He’s also a strategist, writer, speaker and consultant who helps churches get unstuck and have a bigger impact. More important, he has a passion for people. He’s all about helping people meet Jesus and take steps in their faith. For more than 10 years, Tony served on the senior leadership teams at NewSpring Church (Anderson, SC) and Granger Community Church (Granger, IN). With Tim Stevens, Tony has co-authored Simply Strategic Stuff, Simply Strategic Volunteers and Simply Strategic Growth–each of which offers valuable, practical solutions for different aspects of church ministry. His newest book, Killing Cockroaches (B&H Publishing), was released in 2009. Tony has also written several articles on staffing, technology, strategic planning and leadership published by organizations like Outreach Magazine, Catalyst and Pastors.com. Tony and his wife, Emily, live near Atlanta, Georgia with their four children–Kayla, Jacob, Abby and Brooke.
